Stock Movement Validation is the process of verifying that every movement of inventory — such as dispatch, transfer, receipt, sale, or return — is legitimate, accurately recorded, and aligned with system data and business rules.
It ensures that the physical movement of goods matches the digital movement recorded in ERP, WMS, or supply chain systems.
This validation is essential for preventing discrepancies, fraud, diversion, and inventory manipulation across warehouses, distributors, retailers, and field operations.
